If I start over again, should I update the HF patch too?

you see, I didn't update HF patch for 3-4 months and when I did, it didn't load correctly so I took out beniplex( the one that was updated) and used the old one (the back up) and then the studio or the game just didn't load the patch at all. So i decided to load BR21 again. My question is, should I use the update again or just use my old plugin Beniplex folder?

when i get the problem with the game i just install latest ScrewThisNoise release and update this clear game with manager. then i transfer all userdata + userMods + all modifications i did to BepInEx folder
