Do you make guides on how to make characters? Or do you have a workflow you can share?

Working from existing cards helps a lot, I've tried making characters from scratch but putting hairstyles together piece by piece is pure hell and I have nothing but respect for the people that do it, that's the reason why I label my cards as edits and credit the original author, once you have a solid foundation the process goes much more smoothly.
As far as making heads and faces you should get as many reference pictures from the source material as possible and keep in mind that translating a 2D image to a 3D model is not going to be 100% accurate, this applies to characters from anime or games like Nikke or BD2 where the originals are just illustrations and many times not consistent in terms of proportion.
I would suggest just opening a few cards that you really like and playing around with the sliders and you'll eventually get a feeling for it
If you have any specific questions I can try to help as best as I can

Does anyone have any GFL2 headmods done by vortiger?
Preferably TMP and Sakura
And if someone has it, but is not willing to share then at least please show how the neck is made because I'm curious if it's any better than Juedge's headmods.

I found a bra identical to the one in this screenshot on another shared card, so I reused the material to make this one.
zamn, my bad, its also like 18 to 25 dollars per card, idk if it was worth to buy head swaps at such prices

Is there a command or something that lets you quickly set all the characters to “acclimated” status while in “School Life” mode?


I don’t mean to say this is a replacement, but I’m posting a version of the Cocoa card that was previously uploaded to this forum, which I’ve tweaked a bit to suit my own preferences.
In my setup, part of her arm would disappear and there were various other issues.


do you have the mods? And if you have the original can you post it

Anyone know what's with the lighting on this scene? (I have no idea who made this, it was in my misc folder)
When loaded it looks fine like this:

But when I switch Chika's shaders to the vanilla plus shaders (it was all the default shaderforge shaders previously) everything gets completely blown out:

Enabling/disabling the modmap lights don't seem to affect the lighting in any meaningful way, and disabling the bloom (which is what's blowing it out) doesn't help either:

Is there some property of the vanilla plus shaders that are completely messing with the scene lighting? A bunch of my character cards use the vanilla plus shaders and swapping them all over isn't exactly a solution. Thanks.
Enable DisablePointLights in the Material Editor; if you don't want to do it one by one, I recommend using the MassShaderEditor plugin.
