I am surprised by 2 things in all this:
1. You work in the digital space of the Internet and want your works not to go further than you and paid users? This is unrealistic. Even if 1 paid user sends a character postcard or SD to a friend, it will provoke a chain reaction. It is like a cancer cell that begins to divide from 1 single one into a whole tumor.
2. Do creators really have nothing better to do than personally "go" to such forums and look for an exchange of their works to make sure of the very fact of distribution.
I respect the work of the creators, but to go crazy over your own work and elevate your creations to the level of the 2nd appearance of Jesus Christ is somehow too much.

Card sharers are one of the main reasons I spend money on the creators in the first place. Its hard deciding whether a puchase is worth it when you can't see the final product in action on your own set up. In fact card sharing's probably made me spend more money, wanting to spread the wealth and help get what they need...within reason. I still ain't spending 20 bucks for that dude who keeps bumping the same post with the kind of niche tastes.
