It's a great big "it depends". If I'm remembering the lessons correctly:

Anywhere between watermarking overlays, changing material editor settings with codes, having very slight slider differences between cards, putting comments in the mods, changing filenames within the mods, using the author history, changing accessory order, changing accessory or clothing piece names, or some combination of the above. There's some other stuff but that's all I can remember.

As for animated sfw scenes... Those are pretty rare. I can't even think of any off the top of my head, much less so for military stuff.

Alright... I've been working on this trying to get it to work properly... and I came up with this:

I made this zipmod. All I did was change the GUID, adding the V2 to it. However... this issue now is that (at least on my end) the regular mod and this one refuse to coexist, freezing CharaStudio if they are both enabled and I can't figure out why. So... pick one.

I have also been trying to change the exported character, adding the new Nero outfit, readding the character... but I'm unable to determine how the creator came up with the half states he did for the Nero top.

So... hope this works for you.

I tried this to see if it fixed a lot of my random issues, but the game crashes with no crash report folder generated at the last second of loading. Any idea what other folders might be causing this to happen?

Emm, I also installed the vnge and upgraded the sideloader to 21.0, maybe these are also critical parts... The plugins work well on my computer, so they are not the problems.

very true about the yugioh cards lol. i have actually been meaning to port some YGO hair mods into koi, I started but never finished, didn't think anyone would be interested. I had Yugi and Kaiba's hair already fixed up via blender which took me forever. (I'm gay, I like men, so I wanted to prioritize those. what can I say? I like making pretty girls for SFW content tho.)

edit: oh yeah and does someone have any good sfw scenes that are not screenshot statics scenes from rentry, or how can I actually look for em? smth with weapons/army scenes

Sam Cosmyson is my go-to for KK scenes. His SFW is all free, as far as I'm aware, and I think he just uploaded military stuff recently. Seriously, most of my saved scene content is from him. You might be able to get his NSFW content for like a dollar a month.

Most of the time to fix this I just save the scene when I change the character (even though it's all broken like that) and load it again and it's fixed

Yes . I found my way here after they burned the library of alexandria on F95. I have actually been here for awhile, quite a few months ago I shared a very badly edited video demonstrating how to merge timeline scenes.

Mostly, I have been working on creating my own versions of some characters from Summer Memories as I found every card available to not be very good. Either 100% true to the source material with pixelated look and all, or just not quite how I imagine these characters would look in 3D.

Big shoutout to ABC because that guy has some of the best face/body overlays I've ever seen. I have been working on creating my own kitbash of his overlays, so I can mix and match different elements from them to create my own versions of them with missing or added details from others. Still a lot of touching up I wanna do with some parts of their overlays before I wanna share them.
