Well, thats the problem. Most of these paywall creators are actually from Asia or S.E.A countries but not from korea or japan. So the law doesn’t even exist about this at all. And since ILLUSION has already gone defunct, most of these high paywall creators have gone even more frenzy and are abusing things on the paid mods however they please.

hi i know this a bit of a ask, but do you know how to make headmods colorable? i have been wanting to make some old OoOoO cards colorable and fix up the shadowing issues but don't know where to start. im not asking for a full on tutorial just pointing in the right direction would mean the world

Some shader in Material Editor have a texture option called "color mask"
The mask works depending on the color you use and the area of the face you want to color.

If you want to color the ear area, you paint the mask where the ears are located on the face texture using one of three colors: red, purple, or yellow.
Each color have control over each color picker in ME

And if it doesn't include the original face texture, you can use the UV map as a guide.

Besides, Illusion did take action in 2023, when their company was still active, and took down some of the Fanbox and Pixiv creators who sold paid mods for their game. Aomi was one of them on his first account.

i want to make the top headmod alot like the bottom one, remove the excess shadow map details, make it look less "3D" give it abit more flatter style like the newer ones. in blender i know its possible to adjust and edit the shadowing area and their intensities but idk how to remove shadows in kk without changing the shader style(dont wanna do that) i was hoping to be able to export the mod files back into blender, remove the excess shadow details and hopefully make it colorable through the game engine rather than ME. sorry if i'm rambling, its kinda hard to find people with mod knowledge on top of being unwilling to teach a bit.

Fairly sure their method is to rip game assets, most likely even from someone's beta access/files, port the model to blender, and then convert to a KK card mod

Unless you are doing this there is no beating them

(It's also why we have a fair amount of creators who tunnel-vision only one series/game)

See it this way: at least they're not doing like some paywallers who take cards from other very fast creators like Rinu, PAKAPAKA or ORT, change two things on it and claim it as their own, especially looking at the guys who just take the Makisu or ORT cards, change the body for their own copy-paste standard and clothes, and pretend they made it

They use Ninja ripper and asset studio, i did used myself to rip models from Solo levelling game, import to blender, added bones and everything needed thing but but wasn't able to convert to Kk card png and Zipmod
