Okay I need you to read this very carefully.

First of all this happens when the version you installed is the updated version if you reverted back or you downgraded by accident. So you will need the newer version the current version of KK is v3.36 while the KKS version is v1.26.

So example lets say I installed v3.36 but I didn't like that version so I decided to revert back to the previous version of v3.29 and install it. By doing so and you press replace files when it give you the options it messes up the files that were up to date.

This goes for everyone if you are going to update your Koikatsu make sure you back up your files before hand. The files you want to backup at all cause in case this happens is the BepInEx files and MODS.

This needs to be address but if anyone is going to update you must
1. Back up your files BepInEx files and MODS.
2. If you fail to backup files then that is a problem.
3. ALWAYS I AM MAKING THIS IN BOLD REMEMBER WHEN YOU UPDATE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR CHECKBOXING! AND READ CAREFULLY
4. IMPORTANT! DO NOT REVERT BACK ONCE YOU UPDATED!
5. Once you updated and you have backup files when you put your backup in the main folder DO NOT REPLACE! I REPEAT DO NO REPLACE THE FILES! The missing files you have will be put in.
6. When you update Whatever shaders you have will disappear so make sure those are backup when you back up MODS.

One thing to add: Sometimes updates royally fuck up configs. So if Studio or the Game just straight up doesn't start, it might be the <koi>\BepInEx\config folder. You can fix this by deleting/moving out everything in that folder. All those *.cfg files will rebuild themselves when you launch the game.

A common mistake people make is when people try to revert back to a previous version or downgrade by accident is replacing the files with there backup files since that config file if updated already and someone tries to replace it with the older version it mess up the file. I don't want too go into more detail but another common mistake is putting the back up files and replacing the newer version instead of deleting the newer one then putting back the old files.

Edit: Forgot to mention but if you want to revert back correctly do not replace the files instead delete the newer files the put the backup files into the main folder.

OK，I forgot to back up the plugin, but I happened to have a relatively recent copy of the integration package, so I just deleted it and replaced it. Spending too much time on forums has made me forget my brain. just updating without thinking is enough.

A little hesitant to just share the whole collection tbh. Their cards are relatively cheap and they don't have many followers at all. Would rather they thrive a bit since their stuff is nice.

Make a backup of your mods folder somewhere that isn't your main Koi folder. Then run https://github.com/ManlyMarco/KK-HF_Patch/releases .

If you install the studio modpack, just delete a bunch of the ConQuestus stuff since there's some mislabeled things for other games in there.
