I saw people posting on Reddit saying that a large number of mod developers were suspended in early November last year. This led to protests from users, and as I remember, a few of the suspended accounts were later reinstated. Those developers never received a clear explanation for the suspensions, so they eventually tipped off a journalist, and an article was published recently. We’re still waiting for an official statement from GitHub to know the exact reason. The article itself is simply based on claims from the community.

Does anyone know how to port models in from other games? I would really love to port Action Taimanin models into koikatsu.
I think Newbie creates Taimanin Asagi cards using models taken from the game (he creates his own zipmods), both hair and clothes, but I don't really know how similar they are or if I'm wrong; it's the only Taimanin Asagi cards and zipmods I have.
It should be noted that Newbie mark his cards, which makes it difficult to share the most recent content.

As a reminder, the model only comes with the character's outfit in the "Outfit5" section; the others are empty.

I don't have any reference for that garment, although I am familiar with Hatoko's work.

I'm not saying what you're proposing is impossible, since it involves working with an existing model (which simplifies 35% of the work). This means taking the garment and modifying it in Blender. However, it's important to verify if duplicating the mesh of one leg of the legging also copies the weights for the bones of that leg, and to test the pose mode to look for loose or unanchored bones. Skipping any of these details, which could cause a critical problem, will prevent the leggings from breaking in the game.

Within Unity, it's somewhat more "routine" due to creating prefabs, placing materials, 2D textures, the mesh (or meshes if there are multiple garments), the thumbnail, and the asset bundle itself for the prefab and thumbnail. Although this is where I get a little bogged down, and why I don't make clothes for Koikatsu, is working with the clothing script, physics, and configuring the bone list with the CSV file. This takes me a lot of time and frustrates me even more when I need to log into the game to test if it works or not.

That's why I really appreciate zipmods that include clothing, and if they have any bugs, I do a little digging in SB3Utility before diving headfirst into Unity to tinker with things.
Hmm I see. The only thing I can really notice about the clothing in question is that the legs look physically the exact same, even with exporting the material, the only difference obviously is the fact that one has the legging on it and the other one doesn't. Not entirely sure if that helps but that's all I know. Thanks for the response though.

happy friday. I'm so tired.

anyway, I forgot I had these. These are APURI's Jojo's cards that I downloaded when I subbed to him for a month (this was a while back when I really wanted his male DBZ cards, which I also included in this link) and before his stuff was publicly released. However, I don't know if the Jojo's cards were ever released publicly, and they got blacklisted when I tried to upload to Bepis. So, here. They're okay cards. Better than what exists, for the most part.

I'd say Alucid, man did well to make GFL2 cards, my fav Helen card is by Alucid
Grafko as well idk if he did others but the Nikketa is gud, sad headmod is fixed, not my stuff
and theres that one CN modder (cant read non alphabets) his stuff is free and quite decent, but sadly he got into Daiyan NTR drama dat got him stop making mod (based from his announcement), had some his stuff here incase u need, only Krolik, Nikketa and Makkiato though, pretty sure theres Daiyan but i was too late ig

It's not available for us at the moment and, knowing OoOoO, they most likely won't make it available for us, just like how most of their other male cards aren't available to us. Honestly, I am starting to understand why their fans are angry, because they always give their male cards to this Kiryuma person(https://x.com/Kiko52410400) for Yaoi content, but they won't release the male cards to his other supporters. It seems like OoOoO is a Yaoi addict, and they don't want people to use their cards for hetero content.

I think you're referring to the KKUTS shader, which is very versatile with lighting and shadows without losing that anime look, although it's not highly recommended if you intend to use it on clothing and hair due to its resource demands (especially if we're talking about hair composed of individual strands). When applied to several models in the same scene, older GPUs tend to experience significant FPS drops.

The most economical and fun shader to use is xukmi reflect, which closely simulates the effect of MMD models but is applied in the Unity engine. Honestly, it achieves better results than KKUTS, which I barely use for clothing.

Using and leveling matcap has been the best thing that's happened to me in my experience with Koikatsu. Even now, with a better GPU, I still use it to give my GPU that extra "effort" for DisplaceTex.

Here I have two different uses of the matcap with the normal map and detail mask. I've actually achieved more detailed and satisfying results than KKUTS.

The wolf mask uses a matcap with three shadow layers, and it really achieves a result that can even be applied to the entire model without putting a heavy load on resources, as other shaders might. I'm still working on that mask; it has 10,000 polygons, and it's difficult to reduce it without losing the smoothing, even with the normal map (just in case).

And the body uses a metallic matcap but with the reflection value reduced. It's a symbiotic relationship with the normal map and detail mask because it doesn't dull the image but rather enhances its effects. Notice the neck and the subtle shadow detail.

I have the game without shadows and heavy lighting; enabling it doesn't make much of a difference either. It's an economical method, if you ask me.
