author edits individual cards so when a card leaks, they can find out who leaked the card and ban them. there are different ways to mark...adding small nuances in model and zipmod textures are the most common way. this is the easiest way i can describe it.
when a creator marks their stuff it ensures they cannot get leaked unless the leaker is willing to stop subscribing or retiring from KK

It means that the card that you bought from any of those authors has a "mark" so they can easily identify you in case that you share it and ban you afterwards to avoid more leaks. A pretty scummy practice I must say.

The shortest way to understand is that these authors are schizo lurking here and they will block you for subscribing to them again if you leak them.
So if you want to leak them, normally you would just need to create an alt account on Discord, Patreon or Pixiv every time you subscribe to them. But pointing fingers is embarrassing, so let´s not do that...
