how many New Gacha Games that Upset the Players with an controversial Gacha Plan/Roadmap Recently?
-FGO (worst gacha ever existed, Pay-to-win games care more about their players than fgo devs)
-DNA (steamn't due low IQ wishlist move, currently is available on steam, but getting roasted because no end game, some characters are extremely broken (okay?), gameplay loop is litearlly go afk because you have AI assisted ally who fight for you (why), kernel level anti cheat (Genshin impact has one as well, the difference is that they are a multibillion company YET had issues, like allowed hackers to literally fuck your pc without having to have your game open) Monetization is sort of GL2 greeedy asf but only on cosmetics, I'm not a MTX bitch so IDC about that part but people do so, the objetively good thing here is that devs are trying their best to fix these issues)
-Afk Journey (mainly due to move from Afk Arena (a good game they destroyed by overcreep and whale milking) to a diluted version which trynna farm gooners and user censoring, pro
CCP)
-Tower of Fantasy (not really new, but new server "no gacha", literally the same game, but free daily pull, same p2w issues)
-GF2 (First day of release main server was Asia, next day brute force main server switch to Global, at this day they haven't recover from the backlash = CN patch bring 1% banners no pity at all, $130 minimum amount needed to get any skin, first day 35GB steam download + 29GB in-game patch, a day later all game data wipe so you had to download everything again but in-game, auto-play mechanics making the game extremely easy, when auto-play disabled you hit a knowledge wall that prevents you to progress on events (there's no powercreep to offset the lack of gameplay experience), disgusting optimizations)
-Blue Protocol (If you had to explain the phrase "generic gacha open-world RPG" to someone, that would be the game. It's not bad, it's just that it literally is a generic gacha open-world RPG, the worst version of Genshin Impact that tries to innovate but fails to deliver, but again, IS NOT BAD, just lack some touches and care)
I would never spend money on these gacha games. Leveling a character and their signature weapon to the highest level costs 1500 USD, which is daunting, just one.
Please, I'd rather give that money to those excellent KK creators. The biggest appeal of these gacha games to me is providing fun new waifus that aren't in the anime.
The games might shut down, but KK won't, as long as you save them properly.
Man, I hate these games. Genshin Impact made me shell out almost $300 because of the manipulation and dark pattern exploitation. I didn't realize until I quit playing that they're a bunch of rats rewire my poor brain on literally garbage.
