So I see there's been a slight return to F95 habits... Please do remember that the more complex password riddles tended to be for super archives that were tens or even hundreds of GB large. I'd really rather not see entire quest-length riddles popping up just to get a single card lol.
Remember the whole pirate-themed process that was "Download this card and combine the two codes in the eye overlays so you can get a scene with an embedded download link"?
At least those super archives lasted for a year before people started leaking the passwords and ruining the entire point of the puzzles. And if I remember correctly, there were always people spamming reports to the F95 moderation team on archive posts, which is the reason the thread eventually got closed down since it was too much of a pain to moderate.
Now, personally I've had a strong preference for passwords that are clearly stated but won't work if someone's using a machine translation. That way there's less drama over needing to "know" what something is or having to solve riddles. Doesn't seem to work, though, since people will still complain lol.
I have a few complaints, but I've already submitted them in the surveys they ask us to fill out, and from what I've seen so far HG reads them.

Better to put password on the gofile link and the files. GoFile link prevents scrapers and provides a layer of security since you can't report a passworded gofile without unlocking it. The file so that even if scrapers get through, they might not have the file password, making it useless.

Sure do. Making sure scenes have compatibility with other characters is the biggest pain. Even with Studio Pseudo Maker letting you adjust character heights to match, it's still difficult to make things compatible
Bigger problem with Discord is their report system is completely broken in how abusable it is. It is tremendously easy to report things out of context and get your account banned, the server closed, and every other user of the server flagged just because some fuckass found a questionable thing you an admin said out-of-context before reporting it for breaking international laws.
Another nice-to-have feature for this site: spoilered text is not viewable without being logged in. This way we can put sharing links inside of spoilers and people just coming in off Google/DuckDuckGo/whatever can't just get to the files to report them.
Wish I had more time to play it. It's been really fun from what I've experienced, though! All my friends are playing it and loving it, though many of them also like the original Arknights and appreciate the slight tonal shift and different time period in Endfield.

I don't really see this. Not compared to the original game, at least. These outfit elements and designs already existed in the original, and I've noticed a few times with characters like Gilberta where they're wearing too much to be practical for 3D and it ends up a clipping hell. Ardelia's wearing less than her original pattern, but she's an exception compared to Laevatain. Even Chen is wearing more than her grandmother if we want to go there. I think you may be mistaking increased graphical fidelity/having 3D models with increased sexualization compared to a static 2D game.

I suggest you try splitting it into layers. If that doesn't work, see if anyone has other suggestions.Thats what I use, and it doesn't seem to work the way I need it too.

I'm wanting to swap the hair color while preserving the sheen effects that they had put into the Material edit, and without getting rid of the ear color either.
Changing these two colors to the corresponding arrows.
The end product of what I want it to look like is something like this. I've already got everything else sorted for it, I just need the hair and tail colors to swap, but they can only be swapped using the ME because of how the author made it.
I tried using gimp originally, but it didn't seem to quite help with what I'm trying to aim for either, as I'm trying to edit specific colors without damaging the main look, and whenever I uploaded material edits from gimp, the color would mess up somehow, and not sure why. In the above quote are images I'm using for reference on what I'm trying to aim for.
I don't think the tail issue is serious. As for the color, it could be a software problem or just an output setting issue. Also, textures imported into games usually have color discrepancies, so fine-tuning the colors is necessary.

Not sure how I would split that wave effect into layers if thats what you mean for the tail issue (the tail issue is the red and yellow column). I've tried things like HSL and cropping but none seem to work that well for me.
The color was something wrong when using gimp for me atleast, as when I swapped to affinity and did material edits from there, there were no color discrepencies from previous use in gimp, so I havn't really used gimp since then, except for fine tuning some text on shirts because affinity when it comes to text seems to want to brick itself.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but that seemed rather.... ignorant with that proclamation, and I was agreeing with the OG poster because I simply have no idea who you are, or what you do, so that comment seemed to not resonate very well with me. I've asked others privately who you might be before, and to be honest, not really sure WHAT you do.
The only thing from here that I resonate poorly with, is the fact you said freelancer here, as in the past few weeks actually, I've had people trying to claim themselves to be "freelancers" and dm me for assistance in things I ask in discord for koikatsu related issues, then when we talk for a bit they try and extort me for hundreds of dollars for something they said would provide help for without even talking about money prior, so I don't really have a good rep when it comes to "freelancers*

In my opinion, the tail issue could be resolved using magic tools or quick selection, but different software tools have varying levels of precision. I initially tried using web-based image editing tools but found their precision insufficient, which is why I switched to Photoshop.
As for the color issue, I'm afraid I can't help, so let's see if anyone else has a different opinion.
