Thanks! What version of plugins/mods I have to get if I want the same visuals as the original? The lighting I have in scene is different from what it looks like on author's images.

Enable the 3 modmaps in the "Light" folder, they seem to be disabled by default even with the folder enabled.

Did you check your character lighting options to see if the light in the scene is on or maybe its strength too low? If you did then I do not know, the scene looked as it should for me when I loaded it earlier and it's not post processing as I had the plugin disabled.

It's a 3d model of 01musume, not a koikatsu artist. BILI ported it to koikatsu. Without author's agreement he can't release it because of license issue. Hatoko did it once and got reported, remember?
The only method is mod it to koikatsu yourself, or be chinese and ask BILI to share it.

Yes, did it in the first place when i noticed the difference. As you can see my image is way too blueish in compare to images provided by the author. And if you're saying that there is not Post Processing issue then it might be improperly working shaders.

Easy tip is, sort by filesize, scenes with animation are way heavier

The love hotel map, IIRC, was from one of the DLC. The BetterRepack Koikatsu client comes with all the DLC pre-installed, so that makes me guess (I might be wrong) you don't use the BetterRepack client?

Of course, there's the vanilla maps mod to spawn the map as an object, but that's just not the same.

The zip file IS the mod file. You put it into mods/MyMods without unzipping.

Whatever you open a zip/zipmod file and it has a manifest.xml in the root directory you should assume that it is a Sideloader mod. The file extension does not actually matter because they are both zip files under the hood.
