Damn it, this is bad. The official account of snowbreak has hidden all the videos from 2023 onwards, probably the ones from after they decided to go for a sexier style.
The various controversies surrounding this game recently are actually just a microcosm of the intense conflicts in Chinese male-female relationships.
After all, it's not easy for law-abiding lower-middle-class men in China to find some kind of stimulating sexual activity.
Snowbreak is considered one of the more erotic games in China's gacha genre.
A few days ago, this game announced a collaboration with China Post to hold offline events, such as checking in and selling badges and stamps. However, it was canceled shortly afterward due to unforeseen circumstances. Many non-gamer female reported the collaboration.
They also filed harassing reports with relevant departments and even doxxed China Post employees. In the end, both parties gave up the cooperation。
The following day, Shanghai Television reported on the matter with a negative tone, referring to "Snowbreak" as an "adult-oriented work with excessive content."

I'm not surprised the collaboration was canceled. Contemporary Chinese society doesn't place much emphasis on male sexual needs, let alone works like "Snowbreak" that don't involve nudity.
There is no game rating system in mainland China, so calling Dust White Forbidden Zone an "adult-oriented game" is just a label to facilitate attacks, just like they did 60 years ago.

Most Chinese KK players, including myself, don't really care about the cancellation of the collaboration. After all, "If it's going to rain, it'll rain; if a mother wants to remarry, she'll remarry—let it be."
Things changed after the official account hid all videos from the past two and a half years. I started to worry about whether Snowbreak could survive this ordeal. The gameplay was rather dull, which was why many people quit, but many others enjoyed the character models and other services.
The Chinese gacha game community is very religious and complex. Snowbreak was attacked by feminists because of its sexy style. In addition, there are also gacha players who don't like the use of sex appeal.
After April 2024, the Snowbreak community collaborated with a group called "Don't Play Games with Male Characters in Gacha"(ml). This group had been disgusted by all sorts of bad games while playing gacha, so their behavior was rather extreme.
"Don't Play Games with Male Characters in Gacha" – this principle initially only applies to myself: avoid games that aren't suitable for me, protect my wallet, and prioritize enjoyment.

However, things gradually went to extremes. Initially, they demanded that the writers be credited so that if the second game's plot was criticized, there would be a clear writer to vent against. Later, they demanded that voice actors remain anonymous because some Chinese gacha games tie voice actors to characters, like costumed characters, and some would even attack players for not being worthy of playing the game or for refusing to voice pornographic audio. Then, they banned official game cosplay because they believed some cosplayers were sex workers or prostitutes. They even attacked female gamers on X who cosplayed for their own amusement.

More importantly, they are hostile to most other gacha game communities, including Azur Lane, Girls' Frontline, mihoyo, Arknights, wuwa, ba, NIKKE, and others. They use their own rules to attack other players; if someone else's game doesn't conform to their rules, they are considered foolish, losing friends and gaining many enemies.
At the same time, their criticism of snowbreak has become increasingly severe. In October 2025, Snowbreak's international release promotional materials listed the Japanese voice actors, and the official account also interacted with some cosplayers on YouTube. As a result, Snowbreak was subjected to fierce attacks from these individuals.

Fans of "Don't Play Games with Male Characters in Gacha" felt betrayed, and some even believed that Snowbreak had become a feminist lackey, doing everything it could to expand its fanbase.
Snowbreak believes that such a community is unhealthy, unprofitable, unsustainable, and doesn't provide a relaxed experience for players.
If YuukiS and ActualE are also lurking here, they can also come out and confirm this;,they really did attack the creators back then.
(Attack yuukis to create sence, and ActualE is prohibited from creating fan art based on Genshin Impact and wuwa.)
The game's interactive environment is also part of the player experience.

From that moment on, "Don't Play Games with Male Characters in Gacha" harbored such intense hatred for Snowbreak that they wished they could kill the game, eat its flesh, and grind its corpse to dust. Therefore, the fight against feminism took a backseat. Adhering to the principle of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," they even colluded with feminists this time, reporting and attacking Snowbreak's collaboration.

Damn it, these people have long forgotten their original intentions, forgotten what makes them happy, forgotten their slogans about protecting men's rights, and have gone so far as to collude with the feminists they once despised.
Ironically, most of the other gamers they attacked were surprisingly rational and pessimistic about the farce. They don't hate pornography; they just hate being attacked with a sense of superiority, as the saying goes, "We all do gacha, nobody's superior to anyone else."
Furthermore, the modest success of Snow Breaker has inspired other games to explore erotic themes and allow characters to directly express their affection to players. This is all good for players. The saying goes, "If the lips are gone, the teeth will be cold." Today Snowbreak is attacked by feminists, but who will be attacked tomorrow?

Looking at it from an even broader perspective, these feminists can openly abuse male children on Chinese online novel platforms—castrating, cooking, and subjecting them to personal degrading acts—without facing any warnings or punishment. The website administrators even openly claim they should "be tolerant of such artistic creations."

It really is true, winter is coming. These radical feminists have recently been hurling insults at our aid to suffering children, threatening murder and arson simply because we helped a boy buy a set of comedy comics. Even more appalling are the previous cases of heinous juvenile murder, in which several underage girls murdered male infants, were subsequently acquitted, and refused to pay compensation.
The water temperature is getting higher and higher.
