MLM character cards, as promised

Also the whole mods for cards things reminds me that without piracy I could have never made these cards, and is a great example of why all the paywalling is bad

So far, I haven't seen any card creators who have officially left the business, only those who go on indefinite hiatus and upload a (free) card to Pixiv every 3-6 months.

Or those who move from more exclusive platforms or platforms that are difficult for people on this side of the Atlantic to access due to banking restrictions (for example, exclusively Chinese or Japanese sites).

Plot Twits: Their content is shared in the same way on various Chinese Telegram channels.
I noticed that too, plus I used to see cards posted on the Chan sites but now its almost dead

Well yeah because the harder the paywallers make their content to get, and the more paywallers outnumber free content creator, the faster the game dies

You can tell all these artists showing up with a paywall day 1, drop 10 cards, then disappear forever, were lead to believe there was money to be made with KK cards and at no point did they care about the game, community, or anything around all that.

The best indicator that most paywallers actually don't give a shit about whether Koikatsu lives or dies is the fact I have yet to see a hard-paywaller open all their content for free to the public once they know they're leaving and never making more. It was a cash cow and nothing else.

You open Pixiv with the 'character release for Koikatsu' tag and it's a 10:1 ratio for paid cards VS free, and the paid ones are all the known characters, of course there's barely going to be anyone getting into the game.
