They had a civil war, for what i understand the OG thread was unmoderated and became a cesspool of beggers and shittalkers then some genius had the idea of start a different thread but as all the people that want to "moderate" online places like discords severs, reddit pages, KK sharing sites, dude was also mental and left after throwing a tantrum. Now there are 2 or maybe more threads for koi so everything is diluted. But this is what i understood after going there with googoo translate so take it as a grain of salt.

Dude, this reminds me of the old F95 thread. It was very eventful, all because the jannies mistaken all the shortstacks characters for loli characters and then BOOM! The pirate ship was sunken! First, people hated the puzzles. ME NO WANT PUUZZZLES! After that, the paywallers came into the ship and started there "protest" but only faced humiliation.

Your position is a good one too, I respect it too. However, not everyone has a lot of money every month, not all countries are possible to buy from abroad and many more factors. Therefore, there are sites like this, where people can pirate content and share it, but at the same time support the author when the opportunity arises, I believe in people. I myself support several Koikatsu authors with money through workarounds, for it is very hard to pay for something from my country, but I will support as much as I can. But personally, I do not approve when the author begins to overstep the boundaries. As I've already written: If you do something well, people will support you anyway, you don't need to fight it in a radical way

completely agree with you. However, it is difficult to say where the creator is going too far and where not, everyone has a completely different opinion on this matter. All authors have their own methods of combating content theft, etc.
As for payment, yes, after you know what events in the world, my comrades from the CIS cannot pay for subscriptions to authors as before. This applies not only to the CIS, many countries are experiencing difficulties with paying for various services. Therefore, I share with them directly by subscribing to the creators they are interested in. But as you correctly noted, not everyone has a lot of money to spend on such a hobby. Yes, subscriptions are from $ 10 and up, but when you have enough of them and you see a one-time payment invoice, you already begin to think "Is it worth it?".
In general, this is a rather deep question, it can be discussed quite a lot and I think it is better to close it so as not to clutter the forum with philosophical conversations.

I use a VPN, but more often than not the VPN doesn't work, and once even blocked my Payment Card. After that I started using it through a friend, but he stopped using it now too. Now I have found a new intermediary, but I don't know how long I can use it. I think I will try to negotiate with the Bank of my country, but I haven't tried it yet and I hope it won't be more problematic. I thought about individual sites, but it's hard for me to trust them, because with money there is a risk of being cheated

Edit 2: Don't know what's the problem, it could be overlay issue, or mod issue, either way, I may need to find the original overlay, which is damn near impossible since this card is very old

You'd have to delete one of your mods. I've had that same issue before and it was one of the recent mods you downloaded that conflict with another.
