Guys, for some reason my laptop's system gets super slow after using Studio for a while and this only happens with Koikatsu, any other game (whether light or heavy) this doesn't happen... Even after closing Studio the system remains slow and I can't even shut down the PC normally because it's so slow. The perception I had is that the game even runs normally when this happens but Windows Explorer gets super slow, even if I have a browser open, everything runs normally only Windows Explorer gets slow, does anyone know what it could be?

If this doesnt work, it may be a memory leak problem
.

Some versions of the Koikatsu studio had it.
Happened to me with Koikatsu Better repack RX21.
For some reason when I opened the studio it started scanning all the cards Ive had in the main folder and deployed all of them into memory, collapsing the system.
If you open task manager and find the Chara Studio gobbling more ram than some operating systems... yeah its probably that.

How did I fix this?
-> I remember updating/reinstalling Manlymarcos HF Patch, that fixed the issue for me:

But be warned, updating stuff on Koikatsu its kinda spicy...
Some stuff might break so I suggest you to do a full backup of the Koikatsu folder you have on another drive just in case something breaks...

On top of what White_Runner above suggested: Run disk cleanup, delete thumbnails.

Koikatsu does... interesting things to the file system because of how many reads and writes it likes to do.
