Well, I won't lie, I'm registered on this lovely forum and on another one, f95, although my activity there has been zero. I recently logged into that forum's Discord and found a considerable number of people complaining that their card-sharing thread was blocked with limited access (I think an administrator should give you access, but honestly, I have no idea). I wanted to know if any of you really know the situation or the reason.

I'm saying this because I have a friend who was active there and has now left the community because the previous thread was closed and the current one has no access.

Could this have been caused by some kind of "attack" or a disproportionate increase in people who simply create an account, order the cards, and then disappear for months only to return and do the same thing? This is just my intuition, but I'd prefer if someone with more information would let me know and free me from my ignorance.

It's totally understandable. Sometimes people don't measure their behavior, although when dealing with idiots, I highly doubt they'd even consider consequences like the ones that ended up happening.

I couldn't say "a real shame" because I never got to share interactions with the people on that forum, but I find it easy to empathize with my friend and the disappointment that ultimately led him to abandon everything related to Koikatsu.

I hope this kind of thing doesn't happen here, because little by little I've started to appreciate several users.

You're welcome, but I mean, that's literally what happened: A bunch of idiots (Who were suspiciously new members) broke the rules by sharing lolis and forbidden stuff, then moderation got angry and warned them, then they kept going and going until... surprise! The thread ends up closed and locked forever. Then we all migrated to the now defunct "Isekai cards" that was made by one of those mods, and finally we all ended up here. It's that simple, sadly.

It's probably out of habit, but I let my colleague know about this forum, and although I almost got him to change his mind, it seems he doesn't because he wants to continue or reply to that closed f59 thread; it has him mentally blocked from other options.

Although, I'd also like to clarify that some of the letters I share that are paywalled are provided to me by him from time to time.

For what I can tell, there was a ongoing flame war on that thread forum between the leakers and the paywallers for several months before it was closed, guys like Gin26, Earthship, Unagi and several others were involved, along with their simps, snitches and some trolls.
At first, it was just random arguments and stirring shit in the thread, which was easily resolved by deleting the messages and banning some of the most annoying users, but it was still bothersome for the moderators to deal with, especially as the frequency went from monthly to weekly. But then paywallers started doing more troublesome things, like filling the thread with loli and guro hentai instead of cards and scenes, and if you know the rules there, you know you can't share that material in the open like that, so the moderators, already tired of dealing with the daily nonsense, decided to close the thread to not affect the rest of the forum.

I think the cards and scenes themselves were safe to share if they had a safe for work thumb or inside a 7z, the real problem was the resquests with a nsfw hentai attrached and the links sharing hentai instead of cards.

Don't worry about that, after all, we're in an off-topic thread, this kind of conversation is only a problem if it happens in the main thread, so it's fine to talk about anything here. There's also no issue with the length of the text here, the main appeal of a forum is that we can express ourselves freely without worrying about digit limits or speed, unlike other social media like Discord, because those who don't need the post can easily skip it, as long as we keep a cohesive read, a walltext is fine if needed...

About this Anni93 guy, he believed in the potential of Emotion Creators more than anyone else, and I can´t blame him, when it released if you compared it with vanilla koikatsu at the time, you would have seen it as a absolute upgrade in all the right directions, but if you go to koikatsu bepis right now, and check Game Type: Emotion Creators, you will see a sad and pitiful page, because while he and a few others tried for years to hype the game, trying to get more people to build a diamond mine, they were unlucky from the very beginning, because at that time, the Koikatsu community was already producing consistent gems, and upgrading itself so fast that EC community could never catch up, especially because Koikatsu got a DLC soon after EC release, so it seems that not even ILLGAMES believed in its future. And what happened next was that they remained closer to vanilla koikatsu than modded koikatsu for the last 3 years until KKSunshine was released and EC hope of catching up was shattered in a instant, followed by a slow silent death...

You´re right, after actually talking with you and seeing your work with your cards and seeing how organized your EC mods folders are, I realize you´re actually just normal guy that is very passionate about his work, and I realize my mistake now.

I wasn´t aware of this hate thread you guys were fighting in, at the time, I was mostly just lurking Isekai and VK. Now this place is pretty much the only one left, so I’ve been trying to be a bit more useful this time for once.
I didn´t even check your profile or backstory like I did with Playing. Honestly, besides you talking to me this week, the last time I saw you was that Suou card incident and before that it was on IsekaiDevil post, which just gave me a immediately bad first impression of you, so yeah.
I though I also had to share the post and I also give my own assumptions on own things gone down, I don´t think I lied about EC, besides you and two others on Pixiv, it´s really empty, but I do regret that last text about you, it was not true.
I truly support you stopping all card distribution forever, most people haven´t treated you with not even with the minimun of respect, me included with that post, so there's really no need to give anyone gifts like your cards anymore. Goodbye
