I have been using the tool you provided and it works very well — the vast majority of cards can be read and modified successfully. However, there is a small issue: it cannot display Chinese, Japanese, or Korean characters, for example, cards like
エッチの紙鳶 and
マキス (makisu).
I am a beginner in programming, so I asked ChatGPT to help me modify some code to support displaying Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean characters. After that, it works fine for most cards.
However, there are still a few cards, such as Cauhn’s Sonia and Rixia, that display garbled text. Even when opening them with
https://plugindatareader.maki0419.com/, they only show as "byte[61]".
ChatGPT explained that this is likely because the original card uses Shift-JIS or mixed encoding, so decoding with UTF-8 fails, and the tool does not have Koikatsu’s internal character mapping table. Another possible reason is that the card’s data itself is corrupted or the length information is incorrect.
