You know the answer to this. You were in the f95 thread. It turned into an unmanageable cesspool because people just kept spamming their inane questions in there, instead of using the designated help thread. Answer me honestly: is the thread called "general KK thread, or KK card/scene sharing thread? Its extremely annoying to see the thread has new posts, expecting to find some new creators, and instead its just a bunch of guys asking "how me change chika in scene grug no understand"

Even shitaraiba has a separate forum for questions.

Agreed making separate Koi thread for Q&A+Troubleshooting would definitely make the general less Fubar'd.

Oh, i thought this was just straight up poll.

It really depends, honestly. On one hand, having these things just laid out randomly on the thread means that pretty much anyone who comes across it can read them (or ignore them) at their own leisure. On its own, even if it was by accident, this could increase rhe likelihood of it piquing curiosity enough that it'd be called into attention. Voila, we learn as we go.

However, this means that those who arent following said trhead religiously would be left out. Moreso in the case of people who had just hopped onto the site, fresh. The thread getting absolutely cluttered is an obvious side effect of that, too (tho thankfully my brain still has enough juice innit to tell the difference, and just scroll down and move along, easy. In my case anyway...). Thers the search function of course, one coud always make use of that regardless of the thread theyre in, but trying to find something specific could be a bit of a hassle, tho.

On the other hand, having specific place for threads relating to technicalities/general troublesshooting exclusively would make it easier for them to be tracked, and managed. Have something in mind? Just take a peek at the relevant board, or make a new thread for it in the event that it dont exist. Simple.

Its just that, well...Most people would of course be focused and active on the sharing thread instead, regardless of where ones interest may lay (less we pay somone). On a mental note, this alone is a factor that cooould dissuade people; in that theres the chance where questions asked in this manner might be left without any response at all, or without the supervision of somebody who can make satisfactory answers.

Case and (personal) point;
If somebody didnt just (randomly) mentioned the hotkeys for calling the constraint-thingymajig-function, back at the F95's cards & SD share zone? I wouldve never known that it existed. Helped me out a ton in my everlasting quest to frankenstein a bunch of motions and assets together cuz i couldnt get my hands on the original SD im looking for, and prolly never will.

Oh, a beggar at a site exclusively for sharing SDs? Why yes, i am another one. Nice to meet you, random reader.

On the flip side, i wouldnt have opened the "Other" section at all, if i myself didnt make a thread innit. I saw this 'latest post' about better penetration fucntion, or something to that degree? And it just sat there, as if noone replied to it. And i only realized now that it has more than one response on it, but only cuz i bothered to check and wanting to make sure of that as im typing, right now.

TL;DR
Pick your poison. At the end of the day, the rest would follow suit regardless, im sure. Besides, the site is still relatively new as it were, and had yet to garner the amount of traction where fixed rules had to be employed, whether people liked it or not.
Do as you wish.
